Home invasion reported on Antrim Drive

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Newport News are investigating a home invasion on Antrim Drive Thursday morning.

Dispatchers tell WAVY.com the call came in around 5 a.m. for a home invasion in the 600 block of Antrim Drive. Investigators said two suspects, at least one armed with a handgun, knocked on the front door of a residence. When the resident opened the door, the suspects entered the home and demanded money.

The victim gave the suspects a wallet, but no other property was taken.

The suspects then fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported.

The suspects are described as black males, both between the ages of 17-25 years of age. The first suspect is approximately 5’4”-5’5” tall, 140-150 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and a bandanna on his face and a glove. He was armed with a gun.

The second suspect is approximately 5’5”-5’7”, 190-200 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and a mask.
