Suffolk Police arrest two over vehicle thefts

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Two men were arrested Sunday following reports of tampering with 18 vehicles in the Lakeside community.

Daylan Malik Wilkins, 18 and Juwon O’Shea Allen, 19, both of Suffolk, were charged with 20 counts of entering the property of another, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny and four counts of petty larceny.

Police received multiple reports of unknown subjects tampering with vehicles in the Lakeside community between July 31 and Aug. 1, with various items stolen.

Both are being held without bond in Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
