Va.’s list for safest cities from severe weather

WAVY- A new survey by ranks Virginia’s cities from the safest to most dangerous when it comes to severe weather.

It measures which cities are the safest from flooding, wind, lightning and hail damage. Most of the Hampton Roads cities fall in the bottom half of the list.

Virginia Beach, the state’s largest city, ranks 40 – making it the most dangerous of the Hampton Roads cities in this survey.

The city of Poquoson, however, ranks as the second safest city.

The number one spot belongs to Manassass Park.
