Domino’s Pizza robbed overnight, linked to Channelo’s Pizza robbery

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are investigating a robbery at the Domino’s Pizza on Mercury Boulevard that may be related to another robbery in the area.

Police say an armed man robbed the Domino’s in the 3000 Block of West Mercury Boulevard at 1:58 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators say the suspect took cash from the business as well as cell phones and credit cards from the employees.

The man then fled the scene on foot. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall, 160 pounds and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweat shirt with red sleeves, a blue bandana which was used to cover his face, a black backpack and blue gloves.

Investigators believe this armed robbery may be connected to a robbery at Channelo’s Pizza in the 1800 block of Todds Lane on July 27 and other robberies in Hampton and Isle of Wight.
