Man arrested in armed robbery of Todds Lane Grocery

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a grocery store in Hampton.

According to Hampton police, around 11 p.m. June 21, Dallas Thompson, 21, walked into Todds Lane Grocery located in the 1800 block of Todds Lane and demanded money.

Police say he was armed but no one was injured. Thompson fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

He was charged with one count of robbery, one count of wearing a mask, one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and one count of burglary. He remains in custody at the Hampton City Jail.
