NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police say a four-vehicle crash involving two tractor trailers is causing traffic delays in both directions on Northampton Boulevard.
The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Northampton Boulevard and Wesleyan Drive. In a Tweet, the Norfolk Police Department said two cars were also involved, and minor injuries had been reported.
Norfolk police said the crash caused a fuel spill that extended to both eastbound and westbound lanes of Northampton Boulevard. Clean-up of the crash scene and fuel spill should take until about 8 p.m. At 8 p.m. Norfolk police posted the following tweet:
Update to Northhampton crash. Two lanes in each direction are open to traffic.

Initially, all eastbound and westbound lanes were closed. VDOT crews also closed the Northampton Boulevard off-ramps from I-64 — both have since been reopened.
Dispatchers told WAVY.com there is heavy traffic congestion in that area.
