Woman pleads guilty to swiping holiday packages

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A guilty plea was entered Monday in the case of a Virginia Beach woman accused of stealing packages from front porches.

Monday morning in Virginia Beach Circuit Court, Leigh Ann Larson pleaded guilty to seven counts of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny. All the charges are related to swiping deliveries around Christmastime.

At the time she was arrested, police said they recovered more than 100 stolen packages.

Larson will be sentenced in August.
