Hampton police look for 2 suspects in 7-Eleven robbery

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are investigating an overnight robbery at the 7-Eleven on East Pembroke Avenue.

Around 2:30 a.m., police dispatchers got a 911 call about the business robbery.

The police investigation indicated two suspects walked into the convenience store, showed they had guns and demanded cash. After getting the money and lottery scratch cards, Hampton police say the suspects ran to the 1500 block of Morgan Drive and left in an SUV.

Hampton Police Division spokeswoman Ashley Jenrette said there were both employees and customers inside the store at the time of the robbery. However, no one was injured.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 5-foot-7, 170 pounds, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, black pants, black sneakers and a black mask covering the lower half of his face.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 6-foot-1, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a “winged skull and crown” design on the front and also on the back left shoulder, dark blue ski cap, grey scarf covering the lower half of his face, dark baggy jeans with white stitching on the back pockets, and tan work style boots.
