Chesapeake school bus slides down embankment

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Officials say no one was injured after a Chesapeake school bus slid down an embankment, Thursday morning.

Kellie Goral with Chesapeake Public Schools tells WAVY.com the bus was heading to Grassfield High School when it slid down an embankment on Taft Road.

Goral says none of the 12 students on board were injured. All students were transferred to another bus and were taken to school.

No further information on what caused the crash has been released.
