NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News is installing 200 new signs across the city, with the goal of helping people find their way.
The blue signs will steer you to attractions and brand the city’s eight districts. Right now, signs are up (or going up soon) for the Patrick Henry, Oyster Point and Arts districts. More signs will go up in the future for the Riverpoint, Denbigh, Historic, Lee Hall and Fort Eustis districts.
Federal and state grant money is paying for the wayfinding signs.
