Virginia Beach SPCA to welcome dogs from Tennessee

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — About a dozen dogs are coming to Hampton Roads and will be available for adoption.

The dogs are coming from shelters in Tennessee and range in different ages, sizes and breeds.

The ASPCA says the move is part of a program aiming to save thousands of dogs by transporting them from overcrowded shelters.

The dogs are scheduled to arrive at the Virginia Beach SPCA on Holland Road Tuesday night and will be available for adoption Wednesday.
