ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Arlington County Police say one man was shot and killed by police and two officers suffered serious injuries while responding to a domestic dispute.
Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck says the man who suffered a gunshot wound died Tuesday after being taken to the hospital.
Sternbeck say two police officers who responded to the call suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. He says one was shocked by a stun gun, and the other suffered a serious facial laceration.
The officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Second Road in the Ballston area on Tuesday morning.
Authorities say a fourth person, a woman in the home officers were called to, also suffered minor injuries.
