2 armed men rob Captain D’s restaurant in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake police are investigating an armed robbery at the Captain D’s restaurant in the 700 block of North Battlefield Boulevard, late Thursday night.

Police say an employee had just closed the restaurant and was leaving for the night when he was approached in the parking lot by two armed men. The suspects fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money from the restaurant.

The two suspects are described as two black males, both in their 20s, who were last seen wearing black hoodies.

No injuries were reported.
