WAVY — The Virginia State Police investigation into Alcohol Beverage Control’s bloody arrest of a University of Virginia student is complete.

Our sister station in Richmond, WVIR, reports state police turned over the investigation of Martese Johnson’s arrest to the Commonwealth’s attorney in Charlottesville.

The Commonwealth’s attorney will now review the information and decide how to move forward.

Governor Terry McAullife requested state police investigate Johnson’s arrest from back in March.
