Man wanted for three armed robberies

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police need your help in the search for an armed robber.

Take a look at the surveillance pictures above and below. Police say that man robbed a 7-Eleven store on Colley Avenue late Tuesday night. Then, around 9 p.m. Wednesday, they say he held up a Church’s Chicken on Hampton Boulevard. And the third robbery took place shortly after 7 pm on April 23 at the MetroPCS located at 3016 E. Princess Anne Road.

During all three robberies, police say the suspect showed he had a handgun and took various items before running away.

He is described as an African American man with a thin black beard, a possible round-shaped tattoo on the right side of his neck and a possible scar under his right eye. He is about 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds.
