Va. Beach police search for shooting victim, witnesses

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are investigating a report of shots fired outside a convenience story Friday night.

After a 7 p.m. 911 call about multiple shots fired, officers responded to the 7-Eleven store in the 500 block of Newtown Road. Upon arrival, a large group of people scattered from the convenience store parking lot, according to police.

Officers located blood in the parking lot, but have not been able to find a victim. Officers, detectives and forensics units are still canvassing the area, looking for a victim and witnesses.
