Keenan Palmore transferring out of ODU

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Old Dominion basketball coach Jeff Jones announced on Thursday that guard Keenan Palmore is leaving ODU to transfer to another college.

Palmore is from Georgia and he appeared in 100 games in three seasons for the Monarchs. He was a starter his first two seasons, but his minutes were cut when Trey Freeman became eligible this past season.

Palmore was a big reason ODU advanced as far as it did in the NIT. With Freeman nursing a sprained ankle, Palmore scored 11 points and had nine rebounds in ODU’s win over Illinois State.
