Two men arrested in James City County home invasion

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – James City County Police arrested and charged two men Friday after a home invasion that occurred on the 7700 block of Croaker Road.

According to a media release, police apprehended Ronnie Terrell Berkley Jr., 20, and Qua’juan Antonio Graves, 19, both of James City County.

Police reported the two men knocked on the 25-year-old male victim’s door at Norge Apartments. Upon the victim opening the door, the two suspects entered the apartment, pointed guns at the victim and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash, two gaming systems, games and DVD movies. The victim reported hearing one of the suspects refer to himself as “RJ” before they left the scene in a small red car. The victim contacted his roommate, who believed he knew the suspects and reported that they lived on Ivy Hill Road.

JCCPD located the suspect vehicle on the 200 block of Ivy Hill Road and a short time later the two were taken into custody without incident.

The two were charged with robbery, home invasion, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and brandishing a firearm. They are being held at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail without bond.
