Man carjacked while trying to sell Cadillac

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Police are still searching for a Cadillac and the three men accused of stealing it.

According to investigators, a Newport News man took two men on a test drive of the car Sunday around 1:30 p.m. While driving down J. Clyde Morris Boulevard, one of the men pulled out a gun, forced the man from his vehicle and left him on the side of an overpass.

The stolen vehicle is a black 1998 Cadillac Deville. It has Virginia tags VBP5807 and had “$3,000 OBO” written on the back window.

Police say a third suspect was following the Cadillac in a Chevrolet Impala with a donut spare tire on the front passenger side.
