Police searching for suspect in Ghent Market break-ins

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police is searching for a man accused of breaking into the Ghent Market to steal tobacco products on two separate occasions.

Norfolk police say the man broke into the Ghent Market, located at 1202 Granby Street, on March 12, shortly before midnight. He also broke into the business on Feb. 16.

According to police, he took tobacco products in both incidents.

Anyone with information about these crimes, or who knows this man, is encouraged to call the crime line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). If your tip leads to an arrest, you could qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
