Man accused of shooting 33-year-old man at Chesapeake gas station

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Police are looking for a man they say shot another man at a Chesapeake gas station Sunday night.

Chesapeake shootingChesapeake police were called out to the Shell Gas Station in the 1400 block of North Battlefield Boulevard shortly after 10 p.m.

According to police, 35-year-old Kelvin Watford shot a 33-year-old man who was known to him. Police say the two were involved in an ongoing dispute.

The victim suffered injuries that are not considered life threatening.

Watford is currently wanted in Norfolk for child neglect. Charges are pending against him in this incident.
