Woman accused of spending nearly $2,000 with stolen credit card

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake police are looking for a woman they say was captured on surveillance video using a stolen credit card.

Police say the victim reported the credit card stolen on Jan. 21. When she contacted the bank, a representative told her the card had been used four times at two stores located in the 4100 block of Portsmouth Blvd.

Nearly $2,000 was made in fraudulent purchases, say police.
