Jen Lewis is joining 10 On Your Side as our morning traffic reporter. She’ll deliver 10 Time Saver Traffic reports, weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Then she’ll jump over to The Hampton Roads Show at 11 a.m.
Hampton Roads is home to Jen and it always has been. She was born in Newport News, raised in Yorktown and now lives in Chesapeake. She started her broadcast career at 19 doing traffic reports from a Cessna for WNOR/Fm 99. After a few years, she moved to morning radio on WNVZ Fm/ Z 104 and most recently, WGH Fm/ 97.3 The Eagle. She was the co-host of the “Jimmy Ray and Jen Show” for 19 years. Jen also did regular voice overs for television, radio, movie trailers, toys and videos.
Community support and involvement is important to her too. Organizations close to her heart include, the March of Dimes, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Equi-Kids, Central Virginia Horse Rescue and Old Dominion Greyhounds. As a matter of fact, Jen has a rescued mini horse from CVHR and a Greyhound rescue from ODG. She also has one more horse and two more dogs on what she refers to as her “farmette.” Every day after work, you will find her with a stall pick in her hands. Jen lives on her “farmette” with her husband, Keith and little girl, Anna.
