Man’s bill fixed after tolled for trips he didn’t take

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — An E-ZPass billing problem is now a thing of the past for a Norfolk man.

Now to a 10 on your success story about an EZ-Pass billing problem.

10 On Your Side recently told you about Bob Roberts, whose license plates were stolen and used to go through the tolled Downtown and Midtown tunnels. He was billed for those tolls, despite reporting the theft.

10 On Your Side is happy to report: Roberts’ bill was correctly credited.

Roberts E-ZPass account was registered with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, because that’s where he ordered his transponder. After called and called, Roberts told us the problem has been resolved.
