ODU rallies past Florida Atlantic 68-57

NORFOLK (WAVY) – Old Dominion won its second consecutive game, defeating Florida Atlantic 68-57 on Saturday night in front of more than 7,400 fans at the Ted Constant Center.

Junior guard Trey Freeman, the transfer from Campbell, scored 24 points, Richard Ross finished with 11 points and seven rebounds for Old Dominion (17-4, 6-3 C-USA).

Aaron Bacote added to the scoring with 10 points, while Jonathan Arledge scored nine points, adding in six boards and four assists in the victory.

The victory was ODU’s 16th-straight home win, and the Monarchs will try for number 17 next Saturday against Charlotte.
