Missing Va. teen located in Arkansas, suspect in custody

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia State Police and Christiansburg Police confirm they have located a teen reported missing earlier this week.

According to a release from Virginia State Police, Aysia Monique Lewis was last seen at Christiansburg High School Monday. Authorities say she was in the company of Donald Bruce Quesenberry, Jr. and believed to be in danger of sexual exploitation.

Aysia Monique Lewis and Donald Bruce Quesenberry were located in Little Rock, Arkansas Thursday night and taken into custody just after midnight Friday.

According to an alert on the Christiansburg Town website, Quesenberry is currently charged with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and additional charges are pending.

Late Thursday night, Quesenberry posted the following message on his Facebook page:

Earlier this week, Aysia’s parents released the following statement:

Aysia, we love you!! We are worried about you! We need to know that you are ok! Please come home. Call us, text us, Facebook us. Get in touch with us however you can. We will come get you no matter what, no matter where, whatever time, it doesn’t matter. Unique and Eric miss you. Unique wants to know where you are and when you are coming home.

They also asked Quesenberry to “please drop Aysia off somewhere safe.”
