NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A team led by U.S. Marshals arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a Christmas Eve shooting in Norfolk.
Kevin Jermaine Walker, who had outstanding warrants for malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, was taken into custody Jan. 6 when authorities pulled him from a car parked outside a home near Tidewater Drive and Virginia Beach Boulevard, according to a press release from U.S. Marshals.
A victim showed up at DePaul Hospital Dec. 24 with several gunshot wounds and told police he had been shot about an hour before at the intersection of Robin Hood Road and Military Highway. Norfolk detectives’ investigation indicated Walker as the lead suspect in that shooting, the release stated.
Walker is held at Norfolk City Jail.
