CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police found an 18-year-old Chesapeake man shot to death on Fireside Road in the South Norfolk section of the city early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of Fireside Road after receiving calls for gunshots fired in the area. When they arrived they found Brehon Williams lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Williams later died of his injuries.
According to Officer Leo Kosinsky with Chesapeake Police, suspects in the shooting were identified, interviewed, then released. Kosinsky said investigators spoke to the Commonwealth’s Attorney and they determined there was not enough probable cause to issue a criminal warrant.
