PD: Credit cards stolen from 75-year-old woman

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — On Dec. 23, police say credit cards were stolen from a 75-year-old woman’s purse while she was at a church event in Newport news.

Sometime between 4:10 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., the stolen credit cards were used at two stores in Newport News, and the suspect was captured by surveillance cameras.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged African-American woman, who is about 5-foot-5 and walks with a limp. At the time, she was wearing a black coat, black fur hat and gray shirt.
