NNPD: Man pushing baby stroller stole box of candy

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Police are searching for a man they say placed a box of candy in a baby stroller and left the store without paying.

Newport New police said the man entered the 7-Eleven located at 2610 Jefferson Ave. pushing a baby stroller on Nov. 26 around 6:40 p.m.. He then placed a box of candy in the stroller before exiting the store without paying.

Police say the product loss is valued at $50.
