Mills E. Godwin Courts Complex closed due to power outage

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Mills E. Godwin Courts Complex will remain closed for the day due to a power outage Wednesday morning.

Tim Kelley with the city of Suffolk says there is a breaker box that keeps tripping and messing up the system in the court building.

Officials say the offices will reopen Monday Jan. 5, following the New Year’s holiday.

Virginia Dominion Power and city staff are working to restore power to the site.
