NORFOLK – Norfolk International Airport was busy, but manageable Tuesday afternoon as travelers tried to get home for the holidays.
Morning fog in Hampton Roads and other East Coast locations led to delays of some flights before noon, but by mid-afternoon schedules were starting to get back on track.
One departing evening flight to Philadelphia on US Airways was cancelled, as was one evening arrival from Washington, D.C.
If you are flying out of Norfolk Tuesday night, you will still find plenty of parking. Lines at ticket counters were long, but TSA was moving people through security quickly.
