Overturned vehicle in Norfolk; no injuries

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A truck flipped over in Norfolk early Tuesday morning near Chesapeake Boulevard and Sewells Point Road.

Police tell WAVY.com no one was hurt and the road was closed for a short time while crews cleared the scene, shortly after 2:15 a.m.

Witnesses told officers several people attempted to flee from the truck before police arrived.

Two men were taken into custody on scene during the preliminary investigation, but no charges have been confirmed, say police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
