NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — U.S. marshals captured a man wanted in Norfolk for child endangerment charges.
Petro Johnson was wanted by Norfolk police for three counts of child endangerment and one count of destruction of evidence, according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Leuer.
The charges are related to an incident that happened in Norfolk, just before Thanksgiving.
Deputy marshals and detectives spent hours looking for Johnson on surveillance video, and at about 2 p.m. Monday, he was spotted near the intersection of Church Street and Mayville Avenue in Norfolk.
Johnson was taken into custody without incident.
