3 displaced by Chesapeake house fire

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A house caught on fire in Chesapeake Sunday evening forcing three people from their home in the South Norfolk section of the city.

Crews arrived to the residence at 1020 Cascade Boulevard around 7:40 p.m., and the flames were under control around 7:55 p.m. The house was occupied. No injuries were reported.

When firefighters first arrived, they saw heavy smoke coming from the one-story home.

The cause of the fire is  under investigation.
