Admirals snap three-game skid, beat Charlotte 4-1

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Admirals snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating the Charlotte Checkers 4-1 on Wednesday night at Scope.

Louis Leblanc got the offense going for the Admirals by scoring his 5th goal of the season 1:18 into the first period.

Chris Wagner added a power play goal in the first and Leblanc scored another goal in the third period.

Emerson Etem, back in Norfolk after starting the season in Anaheim, added an empty-netter in the win.

Goalie Yann Danis had 31 saves for the Admirals who play next at Hartford on Friday night.
