NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A car crashed into a collision center in Norfolk after it swerved to miss a bus, Wednesday night.
Norfolk Police said the car was traveling westbound in the 900 block of West 27th Street when it swerved to miss a bus that was entering the intersection at West 27th Street and Killam Avenue.
The car then ran off the roadway and into a Graham’s Collision Center at 1001 W. 27th Street, shortly before 7 p.m.
There was damage to the vehicle and to the building, but only minor injuries were reported.
Police cited the driver of the privately owned bus for failing to yield the right of way.
