Power restored to Currituck County customers

CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — Dominion North Carolina Power reported an electrical outage in Currituck County knocked out service to 5,442 customers Tuesday morning.

Crews restored power to the affected customers around 1 p.m. The affected areas of Currituck County included Aydlett, Point Harbor and parts of Corolla.

A Dominion spokesperson says, at this time, they do not know what caused the outage.
