Pizza delivery driver robbed in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police are actively investigating the Monday night robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

Around 8:45 p.m., police were called to the 800 block of East Princess Anne Road for a report of a person who had been robbed. The 23-year-old victim told officers he was going back to his vehicle after delivering a pizza when two men with guns took his money and personal property.

One of the suspects is described as a 140-pound African-American man, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The other suspect is also an African-American man, who weighs about 250 pounds and was wearing all dark clothing.

Norfolk detectives are asking anyone with information that could identify the suspects to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
