PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Two men stole over 80 cigarette cartons from a convenience store in Portsmouth.

The two black males walked into a 7-Eleven around 2:45 p.m. Oct. 8  and broke into the manager’s office stealing 30 cartons of smokes. Four days later, one of the suspects returned to the same shop on the 4000 block of Cedar Lane and broke back into the office taking over 50 boxes, according to police.

Detectives said they believe the suspects were driving a blue or black SUV with rear-tinted windows during the larceny. This vehicle was also seen during a Walgreens Pharmacy theft in the 5900 block of High Street W in August. That crime involved stealing a large amount of cologne, the release stated.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, camouflaged pants and a black cap. The second wore a brown and white long-sleeve flannel shirt, camouflaged pants and a gray ball cap.
