Great Pumpkin Challenge

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Nothing inspires art like a little competition and that’s why you should take your carved pumpkin masterpiece to the inaugural Great Pumpkin Challenge, a competition between the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth to celebrate Halloween. Nancy Perry from Portsmouth Museums along with Stephen Kirkland, Executive Director of Nauticus talked about the event and how everyone can get participate.

Friday, Oct. 24: 3pm to 6pm
Saturday, Oct. 25: Noon to 3pm
Winning City Announced at 7:30pm
Displays Open Until 9:30pm
Portsmouth: High Street Landing
Norfolk: Nauticus
