Suffolk officers investigating homicide

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk police found a woman suffering from trauma Saturday morning in the Walnut Hill Estates neighborhood.

Virginia Mae Hill, 69, was discovered in her home around 5:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Collier Crescent, according to officers.

She was transported to Sentara Obici Hospital with life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead a short time later.

Police said the death is now classified as a homicide.
