NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 13-year-old boy has been found guilty of malicious wounding after he stabbed an 11-year-old boy on the school bus, last month.
The teen was found guilty Tuesday after he stabbed the victim twice in the back of neck and shoulder area with a pair of scissors as the two were exiting the school bus near the 100 block of Stafford Street, on Sept. 22.
Police say the victim spent four days in the hospital and is currently receiving physical therapy.
The 13-year-old is being held at the Norfolk Juvenile Detention Center. His sentencing has been scheduled for next month.
