CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police arrested a man Thursday accused of robbing a bank in Chesapeake last September.
The thief gave a teller a note demanding money and implying he had a weapon, the release stated. Wearing a green ball cap and shirt, the suspect fled the BB&T at 1809 Greenbrier Parkway on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash on Sept. 15, said police.
Robert Hollowell, 48, was charged with robbery in connection to the bank heist. He is from the 900 block of Park Avenue.
