CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention trailers at Greenbrier Mall are supporting a national health survey in Hampton Roads.
For the next few weeks, health professional will be going door-to-door talking to residents for The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). The CDC said it helps paint a broad understanding of health throughout the country. “It serves as the nation’s ‘health check-up,'” said CDC Director Thomas Frieden.
The National Health Survey in Hampton Roads began on Sept. 22.
Whoever participates will receive compensation for time and travel expenses up to $125.
