NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The driver of the vehicle that hit a bicyclist in Norfolk Monday will not face charges.
The bicyclist was at the intersection of W. Little Creek Road and Hampton Boulevard around 11:20 a.m. when he was struck by a Chrysler Cirrus. The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. According to a Norfolk Police spokesperson, witnesses told the investigating officers that the bicyclist road in front of several vehicles before he was struck.
Once the investigation is complete, Norfolk Police say the bicyclist could face charges.
