2 robbed, carjacked after leaving Suffolk tavern

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Police are looking for two men accused of robbing and carjacking two people as they left Kelly’s Tavern in Suffolk early Monday morning.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk Media and Community Relations said the incident occurred at 2:04 a.m. in the 100 block of West Constance Road in Suffolk.

The victims were leaving Kelly’s Tavern when two men with firearms held them at gunpoint, said Klink. The subjects demanded the victims’ keys and wallets. They then fled in one of the victim’s vehicles, a black 2004 Saturn Vue with a Virginia tag.

The male and female victims were not injured.

Police continue to investigate.
