Man shot several times in Norfolk, shooter at large

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police responded to a shooting in Norfolk Wednesday night after reports of a man injured from multiple gunshot wounds.

Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded to the 500 block of Fenchurch Street where they found the victim.

According to Norfolk Police, detectives were able to locate a crime scene in the 1000 block of Mariner Street, where the shooting initially took place.

The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives continue to investigate.
