NSU prepares for Saturday clash at W&M

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The defense is playing great, but the offense has been ineffective. That is the story of the Norfolk State football team this year, plain and simple. In two losses to open the season, NSU has scored six total points.

It does not get any easier for the Spartans this week when they travel to William & Mary Saturday night.

“They did a real nice job against Hampton,” NSU coach Pete Adrian said.  “They were able to get up and down the field quite a bit and they have great size on the offensive line. And William & Mary played good against a very tough Virginia Tech team who just beat Ohio State, so William & Mary could be the best team on our schedule this year.”
