Another ranked opponent for UVA

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WAVY) – After a close loss to 7th ranked UCLA and an easy win over Richmond, Virginia has a chance to make a statement Saturday against ACC newcomer Louisville.

Virginia’s defense kept the UCLA game close when the Cavaliers committed three turnovers that were returned for touchdowns.

While coach Mike London may be on the hot-seat, he and his players are excited about being tested against 21st ranked Louisville.

“I’m excited about it, they’re traditionally a pretty solid team,” said offensive lineman Ross Burbank.  “It’s just nice to have good competition in the ACC, the teams are getting better, it’s just exciting to play against other good teams and other good players.”

Louisville is favored by seven for Saturday’s game in Charlottesville which begins at 12:30.
